Emmett Miller (1900-1962) was much better known as a singer who had an excellent voice and a unique style that influenced many country singers. Miller was a “yodeling blues singer” who enjoyed a brief period of relative fame in the 1920s. He is said to have influenced the likes of Bob Wills, Tommy Duncan, Leon Redbone, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, and others.
