Vancouver’s own DougieDog Hot Dogs is supporting the Canucks’ quest for the Cup with a new gourmet Canucks Dog. This delicious and colorful creation, inspired by the Canucks logo, includes 2 strips of bacon, an all natural wiener, melted cheese, neon green relish, and mustard – plus a healthy sprinkling of ketchup chips.
One dollar from each Canucks Dog sold goes to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
Canucks Dogs will be available for as long as the Canucks remain in the playoffs. And if (or when!) they win the Cup, the hotdog will be permanently added to the menu. The charitable donation will also be permanent.
The Canucks Dog is the 26th gourmet hotdog creation on the DougieDog menu. The restaurant is known for its signature all-natural hotdogs served with a choice of a side of homemade mac ‘n cheese, chili, coleslaw, yam fries, french fries or poutine.
DougieDog also boasts Vancouver’s largest selection of root beer including its very own DougieDog Draft Root Beer.
DougieDog is located at 1011 Granville St in Vancouver in the heart of the entertainment district.
